I’ve been planing to writing this review for weeks now but because I was so busy I kept postponing it. Paris Green was the last nail polish shade I’ve tested and it’s part of Kinetics Spring Summer 2013 Crazy Daizy Collection (info & swatches). It looks more like a spring color due to its pastel green tone but lovers of green shades could definitely wear it anytime.

Kinetics Paris Green Nail Polish (€6.00/ 25.00 Lei/ £3.60 for 15 ml/ 0.5 fl oz) is pastel frosty green with a creamy texture. The consistency runs on the watery side which makes this polish look so streaky and uneven in one coat. Even though the color is so gentle on the eye the formula was hard to work with. When I applied the first coat I had an uneven color, streakiness and you can easily see from the photo how transparent the color is on some parts of the nail. After the second coat the color appears more pigmented but is not fully opaque as it is still looks a bit uneven. A third coat could have probably improved the results but because the polish pooled so much on the second coat I decided to just add one thin layer of Jordana Yellow Out Top Coat.
I’ve worn Kinetics Paris Green lacquer on my nails for 5 days before removing it. I had not chipping and a glossy finish on the nails where I’ve applied the top coat with minor tip wear and still a vibrant color but more mattified on the nails where I haven’t applied top coat. Overall Paris Green is beautiful frosty light green which is chip resistant but it would give you a hard time during the application because the formula it’s so streaky.
