Hello beauties!
Two weeks ago I purchased a few Balea products from my favorite drugstore, Dm and Balea Gentle Face Wash Gel was one of them. I’ve been using this product morning and evening ever since and I want to share with you this face wash gel review. Being a drugstore product comes at a very affordable price so I was looking forward to test it and see if it lives up to its expectations.

Balea Gentle Face Wash Gel (8,29 Lei/ € 2.00 for 150 ml) is a gentle cleansing gel for everyday use dedicated to those with normal and combination skin type. It comes in a plastic blue tube with a flip-top lid very easy and practical to use. The gel has a nicely, smooth and delicate formula and a pleasant smell of lotus flower and bamboo extract.
You can use it both morning and evening and try to apply a small amount of product and massage it into your skin until it forms a gently foam which will help you remove your makeup, dust and cleanse your face and afterwards rinse with warm water. I personally like to use this gel mostly in the morning while I’m taking my shower just to cleanse the night cream and dust particles. It felt very soft and smooth on my skin, it didn’t irritated me or break me out and my skin was perfectly cleansed without feeling dry. My complexion was revitalized, soft and fresh while the Pro-vitamin B5 provided moisture.
I’m very satisfied with this product so far and I’m thinking of repurchasing it again once I finish the 150 ml tube which I’m sure it will last me about a month and a half to two months if I’m using it two times a day. I’ve spotted a Balea Face Peeling Gel (75 ml for 7.99 Lei/ 2.00 Eur) from the same line and I plan to buy it later this week.

I had never heard of this brand before. Sounds like a great cleanser, and very affordable too.
Hmmm you really haven’t heard about Balea? It’s a brand by Dm drugstores which are widely spread across Europe. I know I’ve seen Dm shops in Germany and Austria but in other countries maybe Balea is available at a different drugstore. For example Icaria has this brand in her country but in a different shop and with a different packaging than in Europe. 🙂

Hi Shirley! Balea is a drugstores brand that is available exclusively to DM drugstores as far as I know. Here in Europe Balea is sold only in DM shops but visitors from Canada told me they have this brand as well. Honestly I don’t know if Balea is available in Singapore as it’s known as a German brand.
