Beyoncé Knowles and Tina Knowles, Deréon’s founder, creative director and designer are teaming up with Temptu (airbrush makeup firm) to create a collection of temporary tattoos under the Dereon label.
Tina Knowles declared:
With a Sixties-pinup-girl meets-futuristic-biker-chick theme, Beyoncé and I really wanted to give our Deréon fall 2010 campaign a tough edginess. We decided to invite Temptu to help us create custom body art for her to model with our fashions. The resulting images were so strong that we realized consumers might want to re-create the tattoos themselves.
The new tattoo collection will be launched on 1st November 2010 and will be available in a limited edition containing deluxe and basic packages. In U.S. and Canada they could be found @Sephora shops, sephora.com, temptu.com and dereon.com
Check out more photos…All the tattoos are waterproof, lasting from 2 to 5 days and the design will include Deréon’s signature fleur icon, rocker bolts and chains, jewel baubles and spider designs.
