My dears,
A few days ago a wrote a preview post where I showed you some of the products that I’ve got from Clinique. I don’t have experience with Clinique makeup products but I sure know a lot about their cosmetic care line.
For years I’ve been using their facial soap, tonic lotion, face mask, face and eye cream or moisturizers. Most of Clinique products have been great for my skin, they helped me a lot trough the years and I hope I can have the same friendly relationship with their makeup products.
I’ve received for review their Long Last Soft Shine Lipstick in Blushing Nude, the most wearable lip toned pink with a soft matte finish. This color is actually part of the Pinks color group but is not a shade that I usually wear. I like vibrant or nude shiny pinks.

It gives a moderate coverage, with a soft shine formula. I love the fact that my lips feel so soft, moisturized and non sticky. The color won’t feather, creep or dry out. My lips hydrated and full of color.

It says it has a long-lasting formula that will keep the color on your lips for hours but it didn’t last so much as I expected. I honestly like everything about this lipstick except the color. You can’t blame me for being addicted to vibrant pink shades. 🙂 I will try to find a more suitable shade for my taste. 🙂
The lipstick is creamy and feels great on the lips, leaving a soft shine effect. Left: naked lips – Right: wearing Blushing Nude
The price is $ 14.00 and it’s available for sale @Clinnique.com and in beauty shops.
It’s a great lipstick, many shades to choose from and if you wanna have moisturized soft lips trough the day you should definitely consider giving it a try.
I hope this review was helpful for you guys. Please let me know if you have any questions and I would also be happy to hear your opinions. 🙂

you have very pretty lips, and the color looks good on you. I definitely need lipsticks with moisture, as mine dry out a lot

Thank you dear, I really appreciated. 🙂 I still think I need a more pinkish color 🙂
I think the color’s nice but I prefer pink shades too, they’re prettier. Thanks for the review. It sounds very moisturizing.

The color is nice, but not for me. 🙂

That looks more like brownish pink — which is great on many skin tones, but kinda ‘ages’ me, in my opinion. I get their samples from the gift with purchase all the time and, for the love of jeebus, I don’t know why they insist on giving away only brownish pinks.
Having said that, I do agree that Clinique’s lipsticks are super moisturizing.

Hi Mary! I guess they are giving away only these kind of shades because they don’t sell so much 🙂
I don’t know why but your reply made me giggle!! Clinique “rewarding” their loyal customers with castoffs. lol

That one looks very pretty on you! It’s always weird to wear a shade we’re not used to 😉

Thanks Pinch, it’s really nice of you :), but indeed I was feeling a lil bit strange 🙂
I had this lipstick, purchased it but when I received it I just gave it to my mom because it just isn’t my nude shade. 🙂 But it looks so nice on your lips and I know this shade is the one I heard so many good stuff about 🙂

Hi Vesna! I guess I’m just not used with shades like this. 🙂
wished that CLINIQUE should change their packaging
