Essence Kalinka Beauty Eyeshadow in No.01 From Russia with Love (€1.99 for 0.08 oz/ 2.5 g) is a light orange shade with warm tones. It has a soft creamy texture that is applied easily across the lid but is not so highly pigmented as it’s described. It takes a bit of effort to build up the color to a decent visible shade, otherwise only swatched or applied on the lid in one layer it looks a bit sheer.
It’s a beautiful orange shade, wearable by all skin tones and perfect if you want to create a colorful or a fresh, sun-kissed makeup look. Essence From Russia with Love it’s easily blendable but it has some fallout when I dipped my brush into the pan. It has a soft lightly creamy texture but somehow a bit powdery as well.
It comes in as a single eyeshadow in a plastic case with a transparent top and you can easily see the shade. The quantity of product is more than fair considering the small price.
I used this shade in several makeup looks and HERE you can take a look at see it for yourselves if you are interested. I have oily lids but the Essence Kalinka Beauty eyeshadow doesn’t crease with or without eyeshadow primer but it will begin to loose its color intensity and fade away after 6 hours.

Indeed it looks pretty and easy on the eye. You can order it online if you want, I believe it’s still available. In Romania there will be only some of the products from permanent collection fo spring 2014
