Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow 7 Palette – Review, Photos & Swatches

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

It has been a long time since I reviewed a palette and not because I didn’t bought or received anything new just because  I couldn’t find the time between all of the new upcoming collections and products previews. I received the Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow 7 Palette as gift a few months ago together with some other Estee Lauder products that I showed you in a preview post.

I’m pretty sure this palette is an old release from probably 2 or 3 years ago because nowadays Estee Lauder changed the eyeshadow palettes design and packaging, but I can’t tell for sure in which year was this palette released or if it was part of a Limited Edition collection. In conclusion I don’t even know the price but I’m sure is not longer available in the stores. If you ladies do know more about this palette please let me know.

The packaging is simple, just a matte golden color and a sleek eyeshadow case featuring 7 shades with different textures.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Eyeshadow 7 Palette

  • #35 Hot Cinnamon – warm medium cocoa (Shimmer)
  • #33 Ivy Envy – cool emerald green (Satin)
  • #04 Wild Sable – warm medium brown (Matte)
  • #10 Ivory Slipper – cool light pink-white (Satin)
  • #63 Tempting Mocha – cool-medium silvery brown (Shimmer)
  • #73 Peacock Blue – cool-medium ocean blue (Shimmer)
  • #01 Pink Flash – cool light pink (Shimmer)

I’ve been using this palette a couple of times since I received it and the colors are very easy to apply and they have a good color payoff. Most of them deliver a subtle shimmer while others have a satin finish. Applied on top of a primer they look very pigmented but without it they tend to loose the shade. They lasted around 6 to 7 hours and after they start to fade noticeably leaving me with a more natural and neutral looking makeup rather than a pigmented one.
