The new perfume Kenzo Power will be released at the market like its predecessor at the end of this summer, on 20 August 2008. Kenzo Power brings a change to the idea of a conservative cologne used by men in everyday life at their work environment. This fragrance has a seductive smell which makes it perfect to wear in a a liberal office environment. The metallic bottle design by the famous Kenya Hara will be available in three sizes as Eau de Toilette. One of the bottles will be in a limited edition of 750 ml.
The perfume has as a top notes bergamot, coriander, cardamom, continuing with base notes such as rose, jasmine, freesia and finishes with a woody amber base like tolu balsam, cedar wood and labdanum. It seems to me that the “imaginary flower” accord is more classically abstract than imported from planet Mars.
The commercials videos for Kenzo Power will be shown starting from August when the perfume will be found on the store shelves. Responsible for this project is the creative director for Kenzo perfumes, Patrick Guedj.
Eau de Toilette 60 ml EDT edition – $55 US
Eau de Toilette 125 ml – $75 US
while the large bottle of 750 ml EDT will cost $300 US.
