If you are into light pastel shades this season then you will love Kinetics Summer 2013 Sugar Blue nail polish that I’m going to review for you today. This shade is very easy on the eye and it’s part of Kinetics Spring Summer 2013 Crazy Daizy Collection (info & swatches) that was released earlier this year. I personally find this shade more suited to be worn during spring since summer is all about neons and crazy colors.
Now @kineticsnails.com, @kiriloff.ro, @margaritabelska.com and at Exclusive Beauty Line Academy in Bucharest.
Kinetics Sugar Blue nail polish (€6.00/ 25.00 Lei/ £3.60 for 15 ml/ 0.5 fl oz) is a pastel light blue with gray undertones. It has a very light almost watery consistency but despite that it is almost opaque in one coat and doesn’t look streaky at all. The second coat delivers a fully opaque color with a glossy finish. The application went without streaking, bubbling or pooling along the edges of the nail.
Before I started applying Sugar Blue nail lacquer I used Kinetics Nano Rhino Base Coat & Instant Treatment for Soft Nails (review & swatches) and then I finished my manicure with a coat of Jordana Yellow Out Top Coat which protects the color. I worn Kinetics Sugar Blue nail polish for four days before removing it and the results were no chipped polish, almost unnoticeable tip wear and still a beautiful pastel grayish blue shade. Even if you decide to skip the top coat this polish will look beautifully on your nails for the entire week without chipping.
