I’ve decided to write this article because lately I’ve been watching a lot of amazing photos taken backstage at AW 2013 Fashion Week in London, Milan or New York. I’ve picked some of photos with my favorite MAC Fall Winter 2013 Makeup Looks and others with what I think it will be the new makeup trends for the upcoming seasons.
I’ve picked looks where models are wearing bold colors for lips, charming smokey eye or a sexy and colorful cat eye makeup. Take a look at these photos and I’m sure you can find something suitable for your own makeup style.

This photo was taken backstage at Donna Karan at MAC AW 2013 New York Fashion Week and reveals one of my favorite makeup looks. A classical deep black smokey eye look for eyes paired with a nude color for lips.
The next makeup looks was created for Francesco Scognamiglio fashion show at MAC AW 2013 Milan Fashion Week. The combination between black and deep gold is absolutely gorgeous and I would definitely try this bold makeup look.
I’m not sure if I can pull off the next makeup look which was realized at MAC AW 2013 New York Fashion Week for The Blondes fashion show. The eyes are painted in a bright almost coraly red with a cat eye while lips bare a discreet rosy nude color. Would you try this look?
This makeup look was created at MAC AW London Fashion Week for Aminaka Wilmont and while for the eyes was used only a black shade the technique is the one creating the entire look. How about a bit of sparkle and luminosity on the cupid’s bow? The makeup artist used MAC Superslick Liquid Eye Liner in Nocturnal, a bright silver pearl.
We return backstage at MAC AW New York Fashion Week to check out this makeup realized for Badgley Mischka fashion show. The golden bronze cat eye looks lovely paired with a bold lips.
These next red lips were realized at MAC AW 2013 New York Fashion Week for Ohne Titel fashion show. You need only a MAC lip liner in a bright color, preferably a vibrant coral and on top pat some MAC pigment in the same shade. Let’s see the result and don’t forget to keep the eye makeup at minimum.
I hope you enjoyed this post as I have the part 2 coming right up. 🙂
