Hello pretties!
Today I’ll reveal all the details regarding the upcoming MAC Guo Pei Fall 2015 Collection, a new makeup line based on a collaboration with Chinese haute couture designer. For this collection Guo Pei was inspired by the power of the nature, blossoming flowers and and beautiful gardens. It all started one day when her daughter showed her one extraordinary photo of the Milky Way with intoxicating colors of the universe. She then created eight dresses for MAC “Garden of Soul” and from there the entire makeup collection was born.
For the shoot, Guo Pei’s dresses were shipped, in several enormous wooden crates, to the studio in London, the ultimate form of care and attention required for these real treasures. The campaign was shot by Sølve Sundsbø. The visual we created is lyrical and expresses the spirit of elegance and sophistication, with a flirty-ness and a bit of humor. The image captures her creations in a very magical way.
