Max Factor CC Cream SPF 10 in #60 Medium – Review, Swatches & Photos

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

If last month I announced the upcoming Max Factor CC Cream SPF 10 (info & photos) and two days ago I told you what’s my first impression after using this product for the first time now after testing it for the last 3 days a review is necessary.

I received Max Factor CC Cream SPF 10 in the shade #60 Medium (60.00 Lei/ £ 7.99) for testing and review purposes and this shade is just a bit darker for my light skin tone. The new CC Cream comes in only 4 shades from fair, natural, medium and tanned and that’s a shame that so many won’t find their matching shade.

The packaging is a simple 30 ml black tube which needs to be squeezed for the product to come out. For me this product was perfect right from the start because it gives a natural light coverage as I don’t need a full coverage but the good news is that you can apply your favorite foundation on top of the CC cream if you want more coverage. I find the formula very light and incredibly soft just perfect for the upcoming hot summer days.

It applies very easy and it becomes this soft, super lightweight cream once it get it contact with your skin and you need to apply it quickly as I felt like melting into the skin. The formula is just amazing if you are looking for a light to medium coverage with a semi matte finish. I have a sensitive and combination skin type and I choose to set this product with fine loose powder so I won’t get shiny after a couple of hours. It’s easily blendable and glides gently on the skin. It looks natural on the skin without feeling heavy or dry and it didn’t irritated my skin in any way.

I can’t really describe the smell but it’s a pleasant one and very discreet, nothing like plastic or chemical like some cc creams or foundations have. If you want to correct any spots, zits or problem areas you can gently re-apply the product where’s needed. It has SPF 10 so it’s a great product to use during the warm and cold months. For me the new Max Factor CC Cream SPF 10 is a really great product, I’m loving it so far and I would definitely repurchase it again. For a long time I was looking for a product to replace my all time favorite foundation Max Factor Second Skin (review) which was discontinued a while ago. If you have tried the Second Skin foundation and you loved it then I’m pretty sure you will love the new CC Cream as it has a very resembling formula but with a more matte finish and gives you the same healthy and natural look without clogging your pores. It doesn’t get cakey at all and you can build up layers if you want more coverage or layer your favorite foundation on top of it.
