Max Effect Trio Eye Shadow is another product I got to review from Max Factor Colour Effect makeup collection for summer 2010.

The new makeup collection contains 6 Trio Eye Shadows in bright and bold color combination which are already available in drugstores and beauty shops for a price of  £ 6.49. The quad that I will review today is Max Effect Trio Eye Shadow in 05 Sweet Pink and honestly is my favorite from the entire collection because it has exactly the shades I use constantly for a day makeup look.

The other quads have to intense colors for me so I’m happy that I’ve got to review Sweet Pink.

This quad includes 3 beautiful colors in cranberry pink with pearl shimmering finish, a darkish brown pink and a pale pink which can be used on the brow bone as a highlighter. All three colors can be blend together easily and it’s up to you if you wanna apply them wet or dry.

Because they contain a dry to wet formula if you decide to apply them dry you will create a subtle color, a more natural makeup look that can be worn as a day makeup in this summer. If you wanna choose to apply them wet you will create a dramatic color impact for an evening makeup look.

I really like their textures, the pale pink has pearl finish while the other ones are semi – matte. I’ve always applied them after using an eyeshadow primer and they are long lasting but easily to remove with an eye makeup remover. I’ve done several makeup looks using this trio and I will post them very soon.

I especially like this quad because the colors are from the same color range which is Pink and you can easily create any makeup look, especially if you are a beginner and you don’t wanna play with bright pigmented colors.
