Medik8 Cream Cleanse – Review, Photos & Swatch

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

It’s been a real pleasure to use Medik8 Cream Cleanse for the past month and my skin is really happy I got the chance to try product thanks to Medik8 Romania. Together with Cream Cleanse I also received Medik8 C-Tetra and Hydr8 B5 (preview + photos) but more about these products in my upcoming reviews.

Medik8 Cream Cleanse (250 ml/ 8.5 fl oz – 114.00 Lei) comes in a white plastic bottle with a pump which makes it super easy and practical to use and get just the necessary amount of product for one application. Cream Cleanser is a gently cream exfoliator and makeup remover with a silky texture and super pleasant citrus fresh scent. This product was designed for all skin types but especially for those with dry or mature skin.

I have combination skin type and also very sensitive and what I like most about this product is the exceptionally mild formula which melts even the stubborn makeup and cleanse very well the sebum or dirt or any kind of impurities. Because it works also as a gentle exfoliator I don’t need to use other facial exfoliators so often like I used to and it doesn’t irritate my skin even though I use it two times a day. With only one pump I remove my makeup (2 pumps when I wear a heavy makeup) and I instantly feel my skin clean, smooth, fresh, soft and calm.

Sometimes when I wear a full face makeup throughout the day (foundation, powder, contouring powder, blush) my face can become slightly irritated if I wear this type of makeup for more than 8 hours and I’ve been in a smoking place area so what I’ve noticed is that Cream Cleanse not only removes makeup so well but it also calms hypersensitive skin due to its organic orange oil and it leaves my skin incredible soft.

I also recommend this product to every makeup artist out there, when they have to remove difficult makeup or even makeup done with waterproof products.

Application Tips

Use it twice a day, morning and evening by applying the right amount of product (1-2 pumps) to a cotton pad or the fingertips and gently massage into your skin, neck and decollete. Remove with warm, damp cloth if you have a dry or combination skin type or with a clean cotton pad if you have very dry skin.

I know it’s not supposed to be used around the eye area and in case that should happen you should rinse it with a lot of water, but I tried it first time by mistake. I haven’t had any problems, or skin irritation and it removed my eye makeup very well but I decided to stick to the regular application and use it just as a face remover.

I hope this review was helpful for everyone in case you decide to purchase this product. I would love to hear your thoughts about Cream Cleanse and if you have ever purchased any Medik8 products.
