This week started perfectly as on Monday I received the MustaeV Lip/Cream Prop Palette along with an easy go lip brush in chocolate shade. Now after testing, playing and including so many MustaeV makeup products in my look I can say I’m truly in love with this brand as it offers some incredible quality products at fair prices. I had my eyes on this lip palette for a while now as I know it’s a beauty essential for every respectable makeup artist out there and a must have for a beauty blogger.

MustaeV Lip/Cream Prop Palette ($45.00 for 1.5 g x 10) is a slim and sleek black matte compact which is very easy to open an use. Inside you will find 10 lip shades and instead of the mirror which some palette have, MustaeV has included an acrylic plate which is perfect for blending and mixing the colors together. Definitely makeup artists and every makeup lover out there will surely appreciate the spectrum of colors this palette has to offer.

I have to say that at first when I opened the palette and see all the shades in person I though I would wear only 3 or 4 of them at least. Of course that right from the beginning I was attracted to the pink shade, as you know me I’ve been a pink lip lover all my life, but once I swatched all the shades on my arm I started to think differently. Most of these colors are wearable for all skin tones just the way they are but if you are a lighter skin tone just like me you can combine and mix the shades to obtain your favorite.

With this palette every color is wearable and can be customized to your liking and to look lovely on every skin tone. The white shade makes everything seems to simple as it can brighten up any other shade and make it wearable but you can also mix the other colors together.

At a first sight I really disliked #04 Deep Red Brown as it looked like an intense, dark and opaque brown definitely looking weird on my pale skin but once I swatch it on my arm the color looked more friendly and I started to mix it with the white lip color to brighten it up a bit.

Actually this lip palette can become an addictive toy as last night I played with it for hours, combining shades together on the acrylic plate which is also very easy to clean. There are no borders when it comes to your imagination and creativity to came up with different lip colors.

The easy go lip brush ($17.00) is an elegant, sleek and useful tool, perfect to be used with this palette. It has a tiny brush applicator made from taklon hair. It is a bit pointy so you can use it to line up your lips and give a more precise application in the corner of the lip.

The colors range from pink, red, orange to natural, nudes and sweet browns, all of them wearable without being dramatic. I can say the brightest color is #05 Bright Orange, truly a summery shade and I’m sure those looking for an intense orange will surely appreciate it.

I also like this palette because I can create different gradient lip looks, using darker colors around the edge of the lip or using the same color of choice and applying white in the middle of the lip.

I will take a few more days to play with all the colors, see how they work and blend together and I will return with a review next week, with more photos, lip swatches and probably different lip color looks.
