Rouge Bunny Rouge New Makeup Products for Spring 2014 – Swatches!

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

I want to show you some of my new Rouge Bunny Rouge makeup products and to give you a sneak peek of the two upcoming brand new eyeshadows that are launching next year. I’ve tested and played with these products in the last couple of days so I will be posting individual reviews for all of them after the holidays.

RBR Genesis Original Skin Primer ($58.85 / £36.00/ €43.00 for 33.5 ml/ 1.13 fl oz) was on my wishlist since it was launched earlier this month (official info & photos) and I was really eager to try it out and see the results for my self. I have a combination/ sensitive skin type for I’m always concerned with oiliness in my T zone and I really have to carefully choose my products so they won’t break me out.

I’ve tested this primer for the past two days (I’m actually wearing it right now under a new foundation) and so far it has been great with my skin and in combination with my go to foundations. I still want to test it for a few more days before I’ll give you my review, just to convince myself is the best skin primer I’ve tried but so far I’m loving it. Compared to other skin primers I used before which were transparent this one is white with very light pink undertones and it instantly brightens, softenes and smooths away fine lines and imperfections. When I apply it I feel like I’m just rubbing pearls into my skin, it feels so soft, silky and comfortable as it prepares the skin for the application of the following makeup products.

RBR Nocturnal Ink Satin Eyeliner ($36.95/ €27.00/ £22.60 for 1 ml/ 0.034 fl oz) in Dark Bay is a deep ebony brown with satin finish and has a long applicator which can make even those with no skills (like me) in drawing a fine line across the lid seem like they’ve taken the advanced classes. It’s so easy to work it, so easy to apply and just as easy to be erased. It is very pigmented and dark but is not a true black if this is what you are going for.

Least but not last are the two New RBR Long Lasting Eye Shadows ($32.85/ £20.09/ €24.00 for 2 g/ 0.071 oz) in Rain Dove and Rufuous Tailed Weaver which are launching in January 2014. All I can tell you for now is that they are very pigmented which a satin sheen finish and have an amazing texture. I’m a fan of RBR eyeshadow’s formula and I already have a small collection of their shades so I’m very happy to welcome these new ones in.

I personally love the Rain Dove more just because it looks more natural and nude and has some fine subtle sparkle. Rufuous Tailed is very pigmented rich color but enough of me describing it, I think you should better see it for yourselves in the photo bellow.

Will wait for your review 🙂 I’d like to know if the eyeshadows are long wearing.
