Senna Makeup Products – Preview, Photos & Swatches

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

I want to show you a few makeup products that I received from Senna Cosmetics a while ago. It’s not the first time I use Senna products and I’m happy to be able to test some of their new shades, again. I will soon review the products, but until then I hope  you will enjoy this preview with photos and swatches.

I received three shades of Sheer Face Color Powder Blush, two shades of Glow Powder Eyeeshadow, one lip lacquer and one velvet eyeliner which are all available at Senna counters and online @sennacosmetics.com.

Enjoy more photos right after the jump.

Senna Sheer Face Color Powder Blush – $18.50

First of all I love the packaging, simple and elegant but also semitransparent so you can see the shade. Each shade contains 3.4 g/ 0.12 oz of product and has a velvety smooth powder texture. The blushes deliver a soft and sheer color but may also be layered to achieve a more pigmented shade. I have a pale skintone so I didn’t have to apply to much blush because I love to have a natural color on my cheeks but the color is build-able and can be very well used by women with medium to darker skintones.

I received the blushes in:

  • Tres Jolie – clear glowing pink
  • Clarity – clear coral matte
  • Enlighten – ivory champagne

Senna Glow Powder Eyeshadow – $18.00

Beautiful light reflective finish gives buildable coverage that can be soft on the eyes or richly intense. The glossy surface and depth of color and dimension make these colors wearable. Each eyeshadow contains 2 g/ 0.07 oz of product. The packaging is similar with the one of the powder blush, same design and semi transparent case.

I received the shades:

  • Silhouette – silvered khaki
  • Fantasy – reflective blue purple

Senna Lip Lacquer – $20.00

This ultra shiny lipgloss has a smooth vanilla flavor and delivers a high shine color. Its formula is enriched with  Shea Butter, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil and Mango Seed Butter infused with mega vitamins which helps to moisturize and protect lips. It feels a just a little bit sticky on the lips and has a nice natural, sheer color.

I receive the shade in:

  • Ballerina – shimmering sugar pink

Senna Velvet Eyeliner – $18.00

This long lasting powder eye lining pencil delivers a soft and smooth application with opaque, high pigment payoff. Complete with a firm sponge tip to create smooth smudging and smoky effects. Use to accent and define upper and lower eyelids. Contains 1.08 g/ 0.038 oz of product.

I have the shade in:

  • Black Violet – rich purple

I’ve got the blushes and have reviewed them too. They are terrific. I’d have loved to have gotten Silhouette eyeshadow. It looks perfect.

I have to be honest, I’ve never heard for Senna Cosmetics before. But I do like these packagings (I’m such a sucker for that) and swatches I just saw, especially the Ballerina. Going to check them out now.
