Light Gold for Eyes and Pandemonium for Lips

Hello beauties!

I was not kidding when I told you that last week I’ve been “abusing” my new Urban Decay products. I bet you’ve seen them on my Instagram a couple of times, paired with new makeup looks, plus the individual reviews I’ve posting for the past week. Actually it was early in the morning when I created this makeup look, I was heading to NYX Store opening event in Park Lake Mall and as much as I wanted to keep a casual look, I just couldn’t resist putting some Pandemonium on. Pairing light gold with natural and luminous eyeshadows gave me this radiant, fresh and casual day to day look, while for the lips I chose a strong purple shade to add some color to my entire makeup. Usually when the fall season starts I’m prone to wear purple and violet lips and this month I got madly in love with Pandemonium by Urban Decay.

Rose Barbare Makeup Look

Hello pretties!

This makeup look is inspired by Guerlain Rose Barbare 5 Couleurs Palette from the new Guerlain Fall 2016 Collection (info, swatches). This one was my favorite palette right from the start, when I laid eyes upon the entire collection, and if you know me it’s easy to guess why…judging by the combination of pink and violet tones. It was a hot summer day and I didn’t have any plans so I started to play with this palette as I promised I’ll show you a makeup inspired look after the review. While I was just finishing my makeup an invitation to barbecue came along so I decide to go and take some photos in natural light. Since I was in the park for a few hours I decided to take some photos before I left so I could show you how the makeup looked like and how the colors resisted. It has a very hot summer day with temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius so I was happy to see my makeup was in place the entire day. The first photo I took after about 3 hours wear so my complexion didn’t start to shine yet. đŸ™‚

Guerlain Midnight Hour Makeup Tutorial

Hello beauties!

The other week on Instagram I posted my look inspired by the newly released Guerlain L’Heure de Nuit Palette (review, swatches) part of Guerlain Fall 2016 Makeup Collection (swatches, info, photos). Because you appreciate that photo a lot, I thought of posting a mini tutorial and show you the products used to create this look. Guerlain L’Heure de Nuit Palette features a combination of five eye shadows in gray and black colors, which makes it perfect for an evening makeup look. The shadows range from light to dark so you have the ideal combination of shades for a light as well as more defined and dark makeup.

I wanted to create a softer smokey eye, something that will be appropriate for afternoon as I was going out early that day, but in the meantime a makeup that will still look like something I’d wear late in the night. In order to create this look, my Shadow Shields from Andra Cosmetics were a real help, not only for achieving that perfect straight edge but also for keeping the darker shades fall-out on my cheeks. I don’t know if you tried  Take a closer look and let me know what do you think.

Coque D’Or Makeup Look Is Perfect for Fall

Hello beauties!

If earlier today I was reviewing the new Guerlain Coque D’Or 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette from Guerlain Fall 2016 Collection (swatches), I’d thought I would surprise you with my Coque D’Or Makeup Look which I’m actually wearing right now. Each of the newly released Guerlain 5 Color Eyeshadow Palettes comes with two makeup tutorials included so it’s up to you if you want to follow the nude or smokey eye version. I personally decided to do my own version of Coque D’Or Makeup and you can see in the photos bellow what I’ve come up with. I wanted to combine a smokey with a cat eye look so I really like what it turned out to be in the end, just the perfect makeup for evening, not too dramatic but definitely one that will complement greened eyed ladies.

For this makeup I used one of my favorite foundations, MustaeV Skinny Tint Foundation, one that I actually kind of leave it sitting in my makeup desk for a quite a while now, and I’ve applied it with my pink Original Beauty Blender to create a smoother appearance. In order to create this smokey cat eye look I used the original Shadow Shields that I got from Andra Cosmetics a while ago and I must say they are absolutely amazing, for a perfect makeup application. They are so versatile and you can use them in so many ways for different makeup styles, like creating a perfect winged cat eye, a straight edge for shadow just like I did here or simply to protect under eye area from eye shadow fallout, especially when you are playing with pigments. Check the entire list of the products I used along with their reviews right after the jump.

Spellbinder Fall Makeup Look

Hello beauties!

I bet you already know by now how obsessed I’m with the new MAC Spellbinder Eyeshadows (live swatches, video) that I purchased a few weeks back. When I posted individual reviews I promised to return with makeup looks and tutorials inspired by each of the new MAC Spellbinder eyeshadows (preview, photos) so today I give you MAC Spellbinder Mysterious Influence Look. As a green eyed girl I rarely reach for green eyeshadows but I had to put my new MAC metallic pigment to good use. Right bellow the fold you’ll find the list and reviews of the products used for this look.

I also want to let you know that today I made a big change regarding my hair color and I’m sure you’ll notice it in my upcoming makeup looks. I dyed my hair for the first time, actually lighten up some parts of my hair and choose the ecaille technique for that. You can check out my Instagram account to see how everything turned out until I’ll post more photos in my upcoming looks.
