Since I already unveiled to you the new MAC Spellbinder Shadow Fall 2016 Collection (swatches, video) it was only right to come up with a makeup look inspired by these upcoming shades. Today I choose to show you my Higher Power Makeup Look, that I actually wore last week and as you can already guess, the star product is MAC Higher Power Spellbinder Shadow (review, swatches, photos).
I’m just loving this new eyeshadow color, not to mention the formula and how it applies, so I’m inviting you to take a closer look and see how beautiful it looks on top of a creamy base. In the upcoming days, once I’m done posting individual reviews for the remaining shades, I will be showing you more makeup looks. So let’s get to it and check out the products used for this Higher Power Makeup tutorial.
It has been a while since I posted a makeup tutorial and I know I promised you this look a while ago. For this Rose Petale Makeup Look I combined pink shades of Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow and MustaeV eyeshadows as well as a touch of soft gray smudged over a black liner.
It’s an easy makeup look to achieve, doesn’t require too many eyeshadows and the blending technique is quite simple. Bellow you’ll find the list and reviews of all the products I’ve used for this look. Enjoy!
Yesterday I was in the mood for a different kind of makeup look. For me a different makeup, can mean just a touch of eyeliner, what for others may seem a piece of cake. I know I’m no talent when it comes to cat eye and mastering a liquid eyeliner and that’s why yesterday I decided to play some more with MustaeV Tension Fit Liquid Liner Brush Pen (review). I told you previously how much I love this product and how easy it’s to play with it even if you are a beginner. Lately I’ve been in the mood to play with different kind of liquid liners everyday so more makeup tutorials like this one will soon follow.
The other day inspired by a photo I saw while I was browsing on Instagram I pulled out my green, blue and gold eyeshadows and came up with this look. You know I rarely wear such a colorful makeup as I feel it’s a bit too edgy for me, but I admit it was a lot of fun playing with the shades, mixing textures and pairing different colors from different palettes. I do also admit it took a lot of blending, well this is always hard when you’re using bright, intense shades, so in the end I was still not happy with the results. I’m no makeup artist, just a passionate for makeup so as much as I wanted for the entire makeup to be flawless, I still know I need more practice. Take a look after the jump for a more closer look and a list of the products used for this Aquatic Makeup Look.
I promised that I will step up my game….and start to post more of my makeup looks and tutorials, so here I’m today with a Fun & Pink Makeup Look. I told you that lately I’m finding myself in a phase where I prefer to wear more of a simple eye makeup, something nude or very washed out while I keep my lips painted in edgy, bold and dark shades of plum and purples. So even though I’m going through a edgy violet lip shades phase, I still haven’t lost my passion for pinks.
This is the kind of pink makeup look that I like to wear usually during the weekends, or when I feel like looking very fresh and girly. Check it out and let me know what do you think! Continue Reading
