Astral Original All Over Moisturiser – Review & Photos

Hello lovelies!

I received Astral Original All Over Moisturiser a few months ago together with Astral Light&Creamy All Over Moisturiser (review & photos) and I’ve tested both formulas for a few days this summer while I was at the seaside but I also included them in my daily face care routine so I can give you a full review.

The rich, protective formulation of Astral Original is the same simple but very effective one it’s always been, with the same main ingredients:

  • Lanolin is a rich natural moisturiser which binds water to itself, locking moisture in while still allowing the skin to breathe. It’s naturally hypoallergenic and easily absorbed.
  • Glycerine attracts water into the epidermis, increasing its moisture content. It’s thought of as having a Natural Moisturising Factor for smoother-looking skin.

  • 50 ml jar – £1.52
  • 200 ml jar – £4.28
  • 500 ml jar – £8.16

I received the Astral Original All Over Moisturiser in the 200 ml jar which seems like a great value for money considering this cream will last you a few good months even if you are using it as a face or body moisturiser. I has a gentle simple creamy smell and is a rich, intensely hydrating moisturiser that can be used on both hands and face. I have combination and sensitive skin type so for me Astral Original moisturiser was a little to rich with a heavier formula than Astral Light&Creamy All Over Moisturiser. It takes a while to be absorbed by the skin and after a few hours I noticed my face is all shiny. It does a great job hydrating and comforting the skin but I’m sure it would work best on dry or mature skin types who are more needy for a rich nourishing cream. If you are looking for an anti-aging cream this one can’t promise you to fight signs of ageing but it does the best it can to hydrate and moisturise your complexion. Continue Reading

Astral Light & Creamy All Over Moisturiser – Review & Photos

Hello beauties!

I included Astral Light&Creamy All Over Moisturiser into my daily routine last month after the preview I gave you on both Astral Original and Light&Creamy. It’s true that during the summer I tested this cream for a couple of days when I went to the seaside but it was only until I started using it every day that I can share with you my full review.

Astral Light & Creamy all-over moisturiser is intensely hydrating. It has a light formulation, mild fragrance and is enriched with soothing Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. It’s specially formulated to support the changing needs of different skin types – even sensitive skin.

Astral Light&Creamy All Over Moisturiser (200 ml for £4.28) is a moisturising cream that contains 2 main active ingredients – Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. It has a light formula, non-greasy and sinks rapidly into the skin. I have combination skin type and even sensitive skin but this light & creamy formula was feeling so light and kept my skin moisturized trough the day. I haven’t had breakouts or any skin irritation while I was using this cream but I felt like it’s still a basic moisturizer and at my age I need something more powerful to fight signs of aging. Astral All Over Moisturizer – Preview & Photos

Hello beauties!

A few months ago I received Astral All Over Moisturizer in both Original and Light & Creamy formulas and I wanted to give them a good try before I would post my reviews.

As we get older, our skin needs a different kind of care. More nourishing. More protective. And simpler. This means the moisturiser you used in your 20s might not be right for you once you’re in your 40s and beyond. Rich, intensely moisturising Astral Original and Astral Light & Creamy have everything mature and changing skin needs daily from a moisturiser, all over, all in one pot.
