It has been a while since I posted a makeup tutorial and I know I promised you this look a while ago. For this Rose Petale Makeup Look I combined pink shades of Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow and MustaeV eyeshadows as well as a touch of soft gray smudged over a black liner.
It’s an easy makeup look to achieve, doesn’t require too many eyeshadows and the blending technique is quite simple. Bellow you’ll find the list and reviews of all the products I’ve used for this look. Enjoy!
I purchased Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow in No.177 Rose Petale a while ago and I finally get to review it after wearing it a couple of times since. The reason behind the purchase was that this is a limited edition shade and obviously being a pink one made all the difference for me. I’m actually wearing it even now as I’m writing this review and I will post the look along with the makeup tutorial tomorrow on the blog.

Receive about two weeks ago, Chanel Mat Lumiere Luminous Matte Foundation was one that I’ve been meaning to try for a long time. Its actual name is Chanel Mat Lumiere Long Lasting Luminous Matte Fluid Makeup SPF 15, which I have to admit is kind of a long one but at the same time is a very explicit name, one that it kind of says it all, hardly needing a description. So it’s obvious that we are talking about a matte finish foundation with a long lasting formula, but since it also mentions “luminous” among other words, I was convinced I’m going to see more than just a flat matte finish result.

The other day inspired by a photo I saw while I was browsing on Instagram I pulled out my green, blue and gold eyeshadows and came up with this look. You know I rarely wear such a colorful makeup as I feel it’s a bit too edgy for me, but I admit it was a lot of fun playing with the shades, mixing textures and pairing different colors from different palettes. I do also admit it took a lot of blending, well this is always hard when you’re using bright, intense shades, so in the end I was still not happy with the results. I’m no makeup artist, just a passionate for makeup so as much as I wanted for the entire makeup to be flawless, I still know I need more practice.
