Steel Orchid Makeup Look Tutorial

Hello beauties!

As the first makeup tutorial for 2016 I want to introduce Steel Orchid Makeup Look, which was realized using the new limited edition Estee Lauder Steel Orchid Palette from the Estee Lauder The Ultimate Makeup Kit (review, swatches, photos). I followed all the steps suggested by Estee Lauder in the card that came with the palette so you can take a closer look after the jump and check out more photos. They described this as a bold look and it’s right up on my alley as well, since I got to play with pink and purple eye shadows, not to mention you only need 3 shades and it’s very easy and quickly to achieve and it can be done even by beginners.

I’ve used quite a lot of new products for this look and I’ll be posting individual reviews for each one of them in the upcoming weeks. Some of the products used in this makeup tutorial are limited edition for holiday 2015 so if you like anything and decide to buy it, make it fast as they could already be sold out.

Deluxe Makeup with Estee Lauder Holiday 2015 Palette

Hello beauties!

You’ve already seen me talking so many times about the limited edition Estee Lauder Deluxe Eye Palette (review, swatches, photos) but you’ve never seen me mixing the shades in a makeup tutorial. So finally after I’ve been playing with this palette for more than a month I have a couple of looks standing by, waiting for someone (probably me ๐Ÿ˜€ ) to post them on the blog. I’ve worn this Estee Lauder Deluxe Makeup a few weeks ago and I’ll tell you right from the start is not that glamorous, wild effect makeup that you’d expect, but something more feminine, elegant and evening appropriate with a touch of luxury. I believe the effect of this deluxe makeup look also lays in the lip color so I choose to wear one of the 3 lipstick colors that came with the palette. Enjoy the entire look and find out what products I used right after the jump.

My French Noel Makeup Tutorial

Hello beauties!

Lancome My French Noel Palette (review, swatches, photos) is one of my favorite holiday 2015 makeup palettes and since I got it last month I’ve been using it quite a lot and even brought it with me in London. Inside the palette you will also find suggestions for two makeup looks, one for day time and the other one more night time appropriate, so in this chic makeup tutorial, I’ll be showing you the second one. I really like the combination or gold and earthy brown shades with pearl finish, that look so elegant and dazzling specially for the holiday season. You know me, I can’t resist adding a touch of pink to my makeup, even though probably a red lip would have been more appropriate for this look, but well this is just how I see things. ๐Ÿ™‚

Bright Violet Lips

Hello sweeties!

Purple has become my go-to lip color for this season and I admit I’m quite taken with the shade and glossiness of MAC Vamplify How Chic is This Lip Gloss (review, swatches). These days while I’m finding myself in London one of my go-to makeup looks definitely include a Bright Violet Lip. Fortunately I’ve already taken photos of me wearing such an intense violet lip gloss as I’ve planning on posting a new makeup tutorial so now since I have a bit of time to blog I just want to share it with you.

When I’m wearing this lip gloss color I try to keep my makeup as minimal as possible but I won’t deny that there were days when I did a subtle lilac makeup for the eyes or something a little bit more sparkling combining some gold shades. Continue Reading

Gradient Gray Makeup Look

Hello beauties!

Inspired by the new Deborah Milano beauty products I created this Gradient Gray Makeup Look which I believe is perfect to be worn anytime of day. It is the kind of makeup look that is not to intense, so you can wear it during the day, but it also has this gradient transition from light to dark which makes it interesting if you want to wear it in the evening. I wanted to create that fresh looking complexion so I used a flush of peach color on my cheeks and a rosy peachy lip color.

Make Up For Ever Riviera Makeup Tutorial

Hello beauties!

Inspired by my new MUFE Artist Eye Studio Palette (review, swatches, photos) for holiday 2015 I created this Riviera Makeup Tutorial which is one of the 3 makeup looks suggested in the booklet that comes with the palette. The Make Up For Ever Riviera Look is the most intense and dramatic one, definitely suitable to be worn during the evening or on a special event. You could see me wear the Riviera Makeup in this video where I showed you swatches of MUFE Artist Eye Studio Palette along with two new other holiday 2015 eyeshadow palettes. It’s very easy to achieve this makeup look if you follow the 3 steps listed in the MUFE booklet.

Givenchy Smokey Eye Makeup

Hello lovelies!

This fall I was inspired to create this Givenchy Smokey Eye Makeup look by the new and limited edition Givenchy Vinyl Fall Winter 2015 Collection (swatches, photos). I like earthy tones, so creating a brown metallic smokey eye with a natural lip was just an awesome look for this season. I believe the look is very well balanced, not to intense and dramatic but also not too natural. Take a look at the products I’ve used for this look along with the reviews and close-up photos right after the cut.

For me a visit at MAC Store is always fun and informative as I get to check out newย  makeup collections, playing and swatching new products but also I’m getting the answers I need to every beauty question. So the other week I scheduled a makeup session in order to try out my favorite shades from MAC Electric Cool Fall 2015 Collection (info, photos) that I swatched and previewed for you on Periscope.
