Rouge Bunny Rouge Skin Perfector Serene Light Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello pretties!

UPS! I’m blushing as I’m just reaching for my Rouge Bunny Rouge Skin Perfector and realize that I haven’t reviewed this products yet. I don’t know how I could forgot since it’s one of the products I’ve been using since last year and brought with me to London. I browsed RBR articles only to notice the preview from last year with other RBR new products. Let’s not waste more time and let me tell you why this was one of the products that earn its place in my luggage when I left Romania.

Hello pretties!

Bobbi Brown Bikini Glow Stick Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello pretties!

Bobbi Brown Bikini Glow Stick is part of Bobbi Brown Follow the Sun Summer 2017 Collection (info, photos). The collection was available last month when I visited Bobbi Brown boutique in Covent Garden. I passed by the products a couple of times when I was in Selfridges but this times I was decided to pick some of them. If you are following me on Instagram you already know about my experience at Bobbi Brown counter that day. Long story short for those is that I had to return some products.

My reason? I was sold the Illuminating Bronzing Powders in the permanent, classic packaging instead of the beautiful, limited edition embossed one. I was even more nervous when I went back to the store as the explanation I received was simply…. “but they are the same shades”. Indeed they are but if you are shopping the limited edition item then for sure you want that one, with the embossed design and probably special packaging, right? If I wanted the normal color I’d have asked for. They were simply displaying the limited edition design but selling the normal shades instead….is that normal? It never happened to me before with other brands. Bottom line is that I left the store only with two products: this one and the Instant Full Cover Concealer (review).

Where to buy:

U.S. – Now at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bobbi Brown

UK – Now at Selfridges, Harrods

Bobbi Brown Bikini Glow Stick ($36.00 / £26.00 for 0.31 oz. / 9 g) is a pink gold shimmer, one of the three shades released for Summer 2017. In my opinion is a light pink with warm undertones and gold and pink sparkle. It has a very sheer coverage with a bit of sheen, a very soft metallic look. Continue Reading

Huda Beauty Rose Gold Textured Shadows Palette Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello pretties!

My love for Huda Beauty felt complete when I moved to London. The first product that I purchased was obviously Huda Beauty Rose Gold Textured Shadows Palette. I was so anxious to get my hands on this palette and the liquid lipsticks, as the brand was not available back in my country. The combination of colors is right up my alley so it was love at first sight and later at first swatch. I love pink, rosy and nude colors so Huda Beauty Rose Gold Textured Shadows Palette seems the one for me.

I also love purples so I can’t wait for Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette (info, photos) launching next month. This time I’ll be able to get it right off the counter on the first day it launches.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Shadow Play Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello pretties!

After using the new Rouge Bunny Rouge Shadow Play for a couple of weeks now it’s time for a review. Most of RBR products have a very long name and this one makes no exception. RBR Shadow Play Natural Defining & Contouring Liquid comes in one shade 070 Dusk. In case you missed my previous article you can check out HERE the official info and promo photos. I was quite reluctant at first to try out a contouring liquid, especially in this packaging. Keep on reading to find out if I favorite it or not. 🙂

Dior Platine Fusion Metalizer Eyes & Lips Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello beauties!

Dior Platine Fusion Metalizer Eyes & Lips is one of the six shades launched as part as Dior Metallics Fall 2017 Collection. A few days after I blogged the collection I went to Dior boutique only to discover it arrived a bit early that I was expected. You can check out swatches for the rest of Dior Metalizer Eyes & Lips on my Instagram. That day I showed you live swatches Insta stories so if you are following me, you know I’m constantly posting sneak peeks. Not all Dior Metalizer Eyes & Lips shades look that great on the lips as they look on the eyes. I tended to get the purple shade as well, but I was advised not to, if I wanted it for the lips.

Where to buy:

U.S. – Now Dillards, Nordstrom, Saks, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus

UK – Now Debenhams, Harrods

Dior Platine Fusion (528) Metalizer Eyes & Lips (£17.00/ $25.00 for 8 ml / 0.27 fl oz) is light-medium, rosy-peachy bronze with a silver sheen and a high metallic shine. This color is so vibrant, rich and pigmented that just made me fall in love with it from the first swatch. It’s so luminous and reflects the light beautifully. Continue Reading
