Estee Lauder presents Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Radiant Makeup, as its new summer 2016 foundation. I absolutely love the idea of an Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation with a built-in cushion tip which is also detachable for cleaning. Reading more about this product on ReallyRee’s blog I found out two more interesting things like the fact that you can pull back in the product in case you twist out too much and you will also know when it’s time to replenish as the stick gets smaller in time with each use. This is definitely a smart makeup tool and I hope it will be just as famous as Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation.

I received Essence Soft Touch Mousse Make-Up the other week, as I’m lately on the look out to replace my go-to mousse foundation which is Max Factor Whipped Creme as it has been discontinued for a while. I don’t have any skin problems so I’m just looking for a simple foundation with an airy or mousse-like formula that will be easy to apply with my fingers and will give me a matte or semi matte finish.

Essence Matt Ivory (04) Soft Touch Mousse Make-Up (21.70 Lei / €3.75 for 0.56 oz / 16 g) is just the right shade for a light skin tone girl like me. It comes in this small see-through glass jar and has a nude plastic top. Continue Reading
I remember Revlon Colorstay foundation as being the second foundation I used and even then, back in the days was named the best drugstore foundation. I know everyone recommended it as being the foundation that will amazingly hide all your skin imperfections, conceal everything and help you whenever you have a bad face day. I know teenagers are crazy for this foundation and even in my opinion is the best full coverage foundation that doesn’t make you look cakey or like you are wearing a mask.
The good news is that Revlon has updated its Colorstay Makeup foundation formula and has also renew the packaging launching the new product in a bottle that comes with a pump.
I have to admit that the old packaging was a downsize for me, as even though it was easy to shake the bottle in order to mix the product, I was not very fond of the idea of getting the liquid straight of the bottle.
In the past I tried the combination/ oily formula and it was a perfect match for my skin needs back then, as I used to work in the place where people smoked all the time and my complexion needed some extra protection (that’s the reason why I started to use foundation at the age of 25). Over the past few years Max Factor foundations have represented my go-to drugstore foundation choices so I’m always excited about a new launch. Max Factor Second Skin Foundation (review, photos) has been my favorite one for years and it broke my heart when it was discontinued, but soon I discovered my current love, Max Factor Whipped Cream Foundation which unfortunately has also been discontinued recently. With Max Factor seems that I’m always on the lookout for a new foundation and if it happens to like it to death for sure it will not be featured as permanent product for long. When I heard about the new Max Factor Miracle Match Blur & Nourish Foundation (official info / promo photos) and I read all the details I felt that I should give it a try as it could be the one replacing my beloved Whipped Cream Foundation.

Max Factor Miracle Match Foundation (£12.99 / €17.99 / 61.35 Lei for 30 ml / 1.0 fl oz) is available in 18 shade and it’s listed as a permanent product. My shade is No.50 Natural, the one that I’ll be reviewing today, but recently I also receive for testing No.45 Warm Almond. Continue Reading
Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF 40 is no newness, as it was released back in the spring of 2015, but only earlier this year I got to finally try it as the brand has become available in Romania only a few months ago. From what I’ve read so far about this foundation, there’s no gray area, either you love it or hate it. I wore this new skin serum foundation a couple of times before I decided to post this review, and actually earlier this month I wore it for more than 24 hours (not deliberately) as I had a dramatic situation (I told you all about it HERE live on Periscope) and for the first time in my life I was forced by the circumstances to keep my makeup on for so many hours.

Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Foundation SPF 40 ($62.00 / £39.00 / 252.00 Lei for 30 ml / 1.0 fl oz) is a new type of foundation with a super-silky, serum like formula. I got the lightest shade which is No.0 Porcelain and it’s obviously suitable for fair and light skin tones. Continue Reading
Rouge Bunny Rouge Foundation Essence Skin Soul Drops is a new release of the brand and I’ve given you all the preliminary info along with the promo photos last month. It is available in a short variety of shade, unfortunately only three, which I know it can represent a downsize for many women looking for their perfect matching foundation shade. I would really recommend that you should still try it if you have the occasion as it can adapt to your skin color and it’s also suitable for all skin types. You know that as a combination skin type I had my doubts that a foundation made for dry skin could really work for someone like me who is concerned with shine and keeping oiliness away from the T-zone throughout the day…but here I was giving it a try.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Lalla (063) Foundation Essence (€59.00 / $63.00 for 15 ml / 0.5 fl oz) is the ideal color for those with fair and light skin tones. I have to say that is a perfect match for me in terms of color. When I first swatched the color I was skeptical that it would match my skin color but when I applied it on my complexion it looks perfectly natural. Continue Reading
Isadora adds new shades to its Nude Super Fluid and Cushion Foundations, two beauty must-haves. These products have become so popular in the last few months, that a shade extension was necessary. These foundations have in common the same formula delivered in two formats – fluid and compact. While Isadora Nude Super Fluid foundation has a super fluid texture with a lightweight feel and buildable finish, the Nude Cushion Foundation is soaked into a soft airy cushion sponge with tiny air holes which holds the liquid foundation. You can always refill your Cushion Compact by dropping Nude Fluid Foundation into the compact, mixing different shades to get your match, then replace the air cushion, let it soak into the foundation for a while and it will be ready to use it again.

When it comes to foundation we all want that perfect coverage, a glowing healthy looking skin and a natural finish. I for instance, always preferred light coverage foundation that will enhance my complexion and I had all of Shiseido’s foundation previous releases. This year Shiseido presents the Synchro Skin Lasting-Liquid Foundation which contains a transparent correcting polymer that creates a dynamic synchronization with your skin’s condition for a beautiful look.
