Dior Colour Gradation Diorskin Nude Air Rising Pink Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello sweeties!

I’ve been postponing this review for weeks now due to the holidays and all, but I’m happy that I can give you a closer look at Dior Diorskin Nude Air Colour Gradation in #002 Rising Pink. This is actually one of the two limited edition shades (the other one is Radiant Nude) launching later this month as part of Dior Spring 2017 Colour Gradation Collection (info, photos) and it was the first product that got my attention. I absolutely love the pink color gradation and I’ve been meaning to give it a try and see if it resembles a little bit the Guerlain Meteorites Powder Compact. Actually the name of this product is quite a long one as you can see in the packaging photo bellow, so here it goes… Dior Diorskin Nude Air Colour Gradation Blurring Powder Soft Glow and comes with a mini kabuki brush. To tell you the truth the brush has made quite an impression on me, as I got to use it everytime I apply the powder and it’s really great.

U.S. Launch Date – January 2017

International Launch Date – February 2017

Dior Rising Pink Diorskin Nude Air (12 g / 0.42 oz) comes in a very light pink with a gradation towards a white rosy shade and gives your skin a beautiful soft glow with a semi-matte finish. I honestly loved this powder from the first touch, first application…as it instantly mattified my complexion, while blurring small skin imperfection and gave a luminous and natural finish overall. NYX Strobe of Genius Palette Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello beauties!

One of the first products I started to use after I went to the opening of the first NYX Store in Bucharest, was NYX Strobe of Genius Palette, a product that I’ve heard so much about over the internet during this year. NYX is a drugstore brand that offers makeup products that can sometimes compete with high-end products and they have amazing affordable prices, comparing to the quality of products, diversion, spectrum of colors and the amount of product offered in the packaging.

Where to buy:

Romania – Now at ParkLake Mall (Bucharest) | City Park Mall (Constanta)

U.S. – Now at Ulta, @nyxcosmetics.com, Amazon

UK – Now at Selfridges

Shopping NYX at ParkLake Plaza Mall

Hello beauties!

Last week was market entirely by NYX Cosmetics on my calendar. Not only did I go to their opening store party but I went back to the store the day after and did some heavy NYX shopping (photo tease) which will result in a beauty haul soon to be posted on the blog. NYX Cosmetics recently opened their first store in Bucharest in ParkLake Plaza Mall (video tour), which is actually the second store in the country after the one in Constanta. I bet you’ve already seen the photos I posted two weeks ago from the opening store event, showing you swatches of my favorite NYX Liquid Suede lip colors (upcoming reviews) and giving you a peek inside the store. If you haven’t been to the store yet, it’s definitely worth checking it out and don’t forget to subscribe to their program and get your NYX card so you can benefit from all the future promotions and accumulate points so you can later redeem makeup products.

Here are my latest NYX makeup products that were offered me for consideration so keep refreshing my blog for upcoming reviews. I will also be posting soon my NYX makeup haul and show all of the goodies I brought home with me, joined my swatches and a quick preview. I’m already done testing the three NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream colors and you can check out the swatches bellow in case you haven’t already seen them on Instagram the other week. I’m not a fan of a matte finish when it comes to my lips but these were brilliant, so I went back and got some more shades. Continue Reading

Rouge Bunny Rouge Goddess Highlighting Powder Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello sweeties!

Rouge Bunny Rouge launched for spring 2016 two shades of Loves Lights Highlighting Powder (preview, photos). The shade 066 Goddess is the one I’ll be reviewing today and it’s just right for fair and light skin tones, while Sweet To Touch would be more suitable for medium to darker skin tones I believe. I dreamt at this gorgeous RBR highlighting powder ever since I saw the promo photos…it’s really hard to take your mind away from such a beauty.

With Rouge Bunny Rouge every product takes me into a fairy-tale atmosphere, beginning with the packaging, continuing with the gorgeous patterns of each product and finishing with the high quality. Just look how this powder comes packed. In a rounded cardboard matt box with glossy floral  (resembling a mini hat box to me) with the ingredients printed on the bottom, lays the elegant high-lustre, piano black case with a magnetic lid. The pattern is superb, glossy floral print…just right for spring. The powder also comes with a white powder puff included.

Melkior Spring Shine Illuminating Powder Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello sweeties!

About two months ago, when I paid a visit to Melkior headquarters, I also stopped by their shop and took a look (and a couple of swatches actually) at some of their new products. That day Melkior Spring Shine Illuminating Powder came home with me along with other Melkior makeup products, and even though was winter season, I choose a spring shade so I can have enough time to play with it, wear it a couple of times and write my review right before the spring starts. Melkior Illuminating Powder is available in three variations: Winter Glow, Spring Shine and Summer Bronze, almost one for each season except fall.

Where to buy:

Romania – Now @melkior.ro and at all Melkior Locations

France – Now @melkiorprofessional.fr and at Melkior boutiques

Poland – Now online @melkiorprofessional.pl

Moldova – Now @melkior.md

Melkior Spring Shine Illuminating Powder (59.90 Lei for 11 g / 0.38 oz) is a luminous peachy-white with fine silver shimmer and an intense frosty-metallic sheen. The color is quite pigmented, very potent so you might be careful how you apply it. Continue Reading

Hello beauties!

Estee Lauder All Over Shimmer is a gorgeous limited edition holiday 2015 highlighter for face and body which is part of Estee Lauder Holiday 2015 The Artist Makeup Collection (review, swatches, photos). This elegant piece has the same packaging as Estee Lauder Deluxe Eye Palette (review) which definitely makes a statement of luxury. I simply adore the golden sun-rays on the case and inside the shimmer is embossed with the same sun-rays.

U.S. – Now at Estee Lauder counters and online @esteelauder.com

UK – Now at Selfridges, Boots, House of Fraser, John Lewis and online @esteelauder.co.uk

Estee Lauder All Over Shimmer is a medium coppery bronze with fine gold shimmer and a gorgeous highlighting effect. If you are light skin tone then you should apply it with a very light hand, as I like to do it on the apples of my cheeks. It works wonderful and gives your entire face a bronzy healthy glow. The color is easily buildable so it is suitable for every skin color from light to medium and dark. Continue Reading

Lancome Le Duo Contour & Highlighter Stick 2015 Spring

Hello sweeties!

Lancome Le Duo Contour & Highlighter Stick is a new product launching for spring 2015. Lancome couldn’t keep away from this contour and highlighting trend that’s been going on this season but unlike other brands that came out with a powder texture, we are seeing a new kind of product, meant to make the application easier even for those who are new to these techniques. The new Duo Contour & Highlighter Stick has a powder-creme formula and it surely looks like it’s easy to use, quite affordable for a high class item and practical considering it’s a 2 in 1 product.

Le Duo Contour and Highlighter Stick effortlessly and instantly enhances your favorite features, adding definition with the contour shade and illuminating with the highlighting shade. Its lightweight texture uses a unique powder-crème to contour and a silky-crème to highlight. Both ends are designed to fit in narrow areas of the face like the nose and jawline for precision.
