Having Fun with a Pink Makeup

Hello pretties!

I promised that I will step up my game….and start to post more of my makeup looks and tutorials, so here I’m today with a Fun & Pink Makeup Look. I told you that lately I’m finding myself in a phase where I prefer to wear more of a simple eye makeup, something nude or very washed out while I keep my lips painted in edgy, bold and dark shades of plum and purples. So even though I’m going through a edgy violet lip shades phase, I still haven’t lost my passion for pinks.

This is the kind of pink makeup look that I like to wear usually during the weekends, or when I feel like looking very fresh and girly. Check it out and let me know what do you think! Continue Reading

H&M Smoky Pink Eyeshadow Palette Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello beauties!

While I was browsing through my folder with un-posted beauty articles this morning, I stumble upon the photos of H&M Smoky Eyeshadows Palette in Smoky Pink. I remember getting this one about a year ago at a beauty swap event between beauty bloggers and even though I used it a couple of times ever since, I didn’t manage to review it. Obviously the combination of pink colors was what it made me get it in the first place but also my interested to test at least one of H&M Smoky Palettes that I heard so much about.

H&M Smoky Pink Eyeshadow Palette ($5.95 / £3.99 / €5.00 for 7,5g or 0.26oz) offers a variety of five shades ranging from light pink to dark and plum. There is a combination of pinks, peachy, light violets and plum shades, all with a frosty, metallic finish. Continue Reading

Giveaway for November’s Top Commentators – 2 Winners will be selected

The winners are:

Adina – first prize

Jasmine – second prize

Hi everyone!

I know I’m a few days late with this month’s Giveaway for Top Commentators but I had a lot on my mind lately so please excuse my 2 days delay.

The rules are the same and those of you who are reading Chicprofile for a long time already know them, but I will repeat them for the new commentators. 🙂 All I ask from you is please leave relevant comments and not just post things like “Great post”, “These look great” or some other variants.

You don’t have to leave comments on every post since I’m sure not everyone can be interested on everything I write about so I would really appreciate your honest opinions. Thank you!

This special giveaway will last the entire November month, will end on 30 November 2010 and I will announce the winners on next day 1 December 2010 by updating this post.

2 Winners will be selected

As many of you already know, for this Giveaway we will have 2 Winners! Check out the prizes for 1st and 2nd place and find out how to enter, right after the cut. Continue Reading

Chicprofile Makeup Haul – 2010 Makeup and Beauty Products from 22 Beauty Brands

Hello again my dears,

As I said in my “Chic returns from Vacation + Photos” post, while I was away traveling and relaxing I also had time to do some makeup shopping.

I decided to make a separate post and show you the products that I’ve bought (I’m sorry, I know the photo doesn’t show very well all the products). It was quite a shopping spree for me and I truly say this is the first time in my life when I go and buy so much makeup. I never had so many makeup products before ( I didn’t had Chicprofile also) since I’m not addictive to makeup and I like to keep all my products in a small makeup case ( I will probably make a photo later).

I usually don’t like to buy too much makeup because I don’t get to use all the products before they expire, but know since I have the blog things have changed because I also receive a lot of products for reviewing. Continue Reading

Sonia Rykiel for H&M – Lingerie Collection for Winter and Spring 2010 Collection

Hello ladies!

I hope you remember Sonia Rykiel from my post about her Spring 2010 Makeup collection, which I will update soon. H&M doesn’t need any more introducing because I know how you loved their shoes collection designed by Jimmy Choo.

Sonia Rykiel and H&M held a show last month in Paris to celebrated their mostly-undies collaboration. I don’t know if you are familiar with their collaboration but here are some photos from their campaign.

H&M and Sonia Rykiel president and artistic director Nathalie Rykiel are proud to announce that Sonia Rykiel will be the next guest designer for winter 2009 and spring 2010. The French house founded by the “Queen of Knits” represents the distinctive, modern and impertinent spirit of Paris. This marks the first time that H&M has extended its designer collaboration to the world of lingerie and related accessories for women, with exclusive pieces to be launched in-store on December 5, 2009. The collection will be launched in 1,500 H&M stores worldwide and at the same time, Sonia Rykiel will make this lingerie collection available in Sonia Rykiel’s major boutiques around the world – another first for H&M.

The lingerie collection was launched worldwide on 5 December 2009 across 1,500 H&M stores but you can also find it available in major Sonia Rykiel boutiques. Continue Reading

Jimmy Choo for H&M

H&M is one of my favorite stores. From here I bought many quality clothes and lingerie that I still wear even after two years of use. The prices are more than OK for me, I’m not always a “sucker” for famous brands, so I like H&M cause here I can find great collections designed by famous names like Jimmy Choo.
