I just spotted the new Shiseido For Your Eyes Only Collection that just launched online in Japan. I don’t really know if the two new products for eyes and brows are Japan exclusive, but I did saw them on Ebay earlier today as well.

Since the launch of Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation (info, photos) back in spring I was thinking when they will launch the cushion compact version as well. Shiseido Synchro Skin Glow Cushion Compact finally makes its appearance this month in Asia, followed by the international launch next month. Described as soft, airy and cushiony, the new foundation offers a SPF 23 and comes in a sleep black compact with a white camellia flower on top along with the company’s logo.

When it comes to foundation we all want that perfect coverage, a glowing healthy looking skin and a natural finish. I for instance, always preferred light coverage foundation that will enhance my complexion and I had all of Shiseido’s foundation previous releases. This year Shiseido presents the Synchro Skin Lasting-Liquid Foundation which contains a transparent correcting polymer that creates a dynamic synchronization with your skin’s condition for a beautiful look.

Lancome My French Noel Palette (review, swatches, photos) is one of my favorite holiday 2015 makeup palettes and since I got it last month I’ve been using it quite a lot and even brought it with me in London. Inside the palette you will also find suggestions for two makeup looks, one for day time and the other one more night time appropriate, so in this chic makeup tutorial, I’ll be showing you the second one. I really like the combination or gold and earthy brown shades with pearl finish, that look so elegant and dazzling specially for the holiday season. You know me, I can’t resist adding a touch of pink to my makeup, even though probably a red lip would have been more appropriate for this look, but well this is just how I see things. 🙂
Shiseido UV Protective Compact Foundation is a product that I wore a couple of times last summer but unfortunately only now I got the time to review it. I purchase this product myself earlier this year and seeing the SPF 30 and knowing that compact foundations are recommended for combination skin types like mine, I gave it a try. It’s available in a range of 9 shades and the one I got is Medium Ivory a shade that looked good on me when I had tan skin but which is definitely too dark now when the tan has gone.
Now at Nordstrom, Sephora and online @shiseido.com

Fall has already settled in and is showing its rainy weather so lately I’ve been keeping my makeup pretty simple, as natural and light as possible. I love a flawless complexion, one that it will glow freshness and luminosity so the other week while I was trying on the new Guerlain Parure Gold Fluid Foundation SPF 30 (review, swatches, photos) I also did this quick makeup tutorial. The eye makeup is very simple, easy to achieve as I only used 3 eye shadow colors, while lips and cheeks were emphasized by a soft rosy hues. As I said back in my Guerlain Parure Gold Foundation review, this photo was taken after I had only 3 hours of sleep and I needed to look as radiant, fresh and rested as possible as I had a beauty event that day and a busy schedule ahead. I’m really impressed what new formula of this foundation did for me and how well it managed to erase signs of fatigue, small imperfections, diminish fine lines and covered my complexion with a veil of natural glow.
Take a closer look and check out the products I used to create this day-to-day natural makeup look. Continue Reading
