I told you earlier that the second half of the fall season will be dedicated to edgy, dark and mysterious lip colors. Urban Decay Heroine Vice Lipstick is a shade that I know it can be out of your comfort zone, and no one understands it better than me. I’m feeling comfortable wearing pink, purples and nudes but this season I just want to play with all the colors for lips and eyes and discover that is actually fun to refresh and revamp your makeup style. Halloween is close so Heroine could be a perfect choice for a dark and bold lip.

Urban Decay Heroine Vice Lipstick ($17.00 / €19.00 /£15.00 / 98.00 lei for 3.4 g/ 0.11 oz.) is officially seen as a navy blue with a soft matte finish. I see it as a dark, navy blue with cool undertones and a satin finish. The finish is officially listed as comfort matte but I don’t see the color drying out to a matte finish.
It applies well on the lips, without tugging but I can’t say that it applies evenly on its own. The color is almost opaque but it had some areas where it looked more sheer and not so pigmented as other. I noticed that it applies more evenly and easily on a lip liner base. It feels quite comfortable on the lips without any dry feel.
I had about five hours wear with this color with a comfortable feel throughout the wear. In the end the formula tended to settle a bit into lip lines.
