Astral Light & Creamy All Over Moisturiser – Review & Photos

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

I included Astral Light&Creamy All Over Moisturiser into my daily routine last month after the preview I gave you on both Astral Original and Light&Creamy. It’s true that during the summer I tested this cream for a couple of days when I went to the seaside but it was only until I started using it every day that I can share with you my full review.

Astral Light & Creamy all-over moisturiser is intensely hydrating. It has a light formulation, mild fragrance and is enriched with soothing Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. It’s specially formulated to support the changing needs of different skin types – even sensitive skin.

Astral Light&Creamy All Over Moisturiser (200 ml for £4.28) is a moisturising cream that contains 2 main active ingredients – Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. It has a light formula, non-greasy and sinks rapidly into the skin. I have combination skin type and even sensitive skin but this light & creamy formula was feeling so light and kept my skin moisturized trough the day. I haven’t had breakouts or any skin irritation while I was using this cream but I felt like it’s still a basic moisturizer and at my age I need something more powerful to fight signs of aging.

Aloe Vera acts as a moisturizer to hydrate the sin and has an antioxidant content which helps to reduce skin ageing but I would recommend this cream to younger women in their 20’s who are not looking for a complex face & body cream but also to those with ageing skin. Aloe Vera also stimulates collagen production making the skin more elastic and less wrinkled and acts to soften the skin and tighten pores thanks to its amino acid and zinc content while Vitamin E is the most potent fat-soluble antioxidant vitamin and acts as a protective antioxidant in the skin, helping to prevent skin damage associated with ageing. For me it works great as a simply moisturiser and hydrating cream but considering I’m on my 30’s I want something stronger to fight sings of ageing.

It has a gentle fragrance, nothing perfumed or fruity just a basic creamy smell. During the few days I spent at the seaside this summer I used Astral Light&Creamy moisturiser also as a body cream and it felt so soft and refreshing. I use it as an after sun moisturiser and I loved that it was rapidly absorbed into the skin and quickly calmed any redness or minor irritation due to sun exposure. I found the price very affordable for the 200 ml jar of Astral Light&Creamy All Over Moisturizer and for all it has to offer.
