Green People Trio Eyeshadow in Smokey Grey – Review, Swatches, Makeup Look

by Tavia

Hello lovelies!

Last week I gave you a preview of the Green People makeup products (preview & swatches) that I received for testing and review. For me Green People is a new brand from UK established in 1997 which now became the leader in certified organic body care products and has an extensive range of natural products.

I honestly haven’t tried so many organic makeup products so far and this was an amazing opportunity for me just to get an idea if I like these type of products made from ingredients from natural origin.

Green People Trio Eyeshadow in Smokey Grey (£9.00) contains 3 shades in Winter White and Silver Cloud and Graphite Sky just perfect for a smokey eye makeup look. All 3 shades apply smoothly and they are blendable but they are not highly pigmented as they look in the packaging. They are all shimmery shades with some kind of frost finish and they look quite sheer when you apply it.

I’ve created a Smokey Grey Makeup Look (more photos) using this trio and even though the colors don’t have a very good color payoff and they look a little bit sheer, especially Graphite Sky which is suppose to be a more opaque color, they are quite long lasting. My makeup looked amazing even after 8 hours and the colors haven’t lost their intensity, they didn’t crease.

They apply smoothly, they are easily blendable but I had to layer the colors to get more intensity. I like them because they have a soft texture, they don’t feel powdery in any way and I didn’t have any fall out during the application not to mention they contain certified organic ingredients.

The packaging is pretty simple and a little boring for my taste but you can remove the eyeshadows from the case and place it in a different palette if you want, something like those Z palettes. The trio also comes with an duo eyeshadow applicator which I don’t find it very useful since I like to use my makeup brushes.
