I got the new Illamasqua Exquisite Sheer Lipgloss back in the fall of 2014 and I was actually began to use it later in the winter. I used it on its own and paired it with some other Illamasqua’s lipstick shades over the past few months. It has an amazing glossy effect and makes lips look sexier.

Illamasqua Exquisite Sheer Lipgloss ( £16.50/ $27.00/ €20.00 for 7 ml / 0.2 fl oz ) is described as a pink oyster. Is a very light white baby pink with fine gold shimmer and a glossy finish. As the name itself suggests the color is a bit sheer, it will change the natural lip color though but it still keeps a translucency note. It offers a nice luminous finish, looking very natural and sparkling on the lips, just the perfect shade for a casual day makeup look.
It enhances lips and makes them appear fuller due to the high shine finish. Illamasqua Exquisite Sheer Lipgloss comes in a rectangular sleek transparent tube so you can see through and has a brush applicator that makes the application easy and allows control to the edges of the lip.
The formula is light, creamy and feels comfortable on the lips. It glides easily across the lips delivering the color in one swipe without feeling tacky or sticky and it doesn’t sink into lip lines. Exquisite is the kind of color that will look natural on fair to light complexion and a little bit more pink on those with medium to darker complexions. It has a sweet vanilla fruity scent, unflavored.
The color wore well on me for about 3 hours and was neither drying or hydrating.
