Today I’m gonna review Kinetics Fashion Blue nail polish, one of those seven colors included in the Change It Up! 2010 Spring Collection.
Fashion Blue is a beautiful dark blue color with shiny effects. It’s quite opaque so you won’t have to apply more then 2 coats to get a that fashion blue even color.

The application was OK, the brush glided easily without leaving lines behind. Two coats were enough to get the final result. I also apply one layer of top coat on my nails from the right hand just to see how it will resist in time.
I’m not into blue colors as you may know but if you like blue ocean shades you should give this nail polish a try. It dries out pretty fast especially when you apply the Matte One Night Top coat and has an elegant matte effect. Not many colors look good after you apply a mattifying top coat but this one is really pretty.

Let’s take a look and see how what are the results after the fourth day. 🙂
Fashion Blue 4 days later
At first let’s take a look at the photos where I’ve applied a shiny Top Coat.
Fashion Blue + top coat – after 4 days
The result is really good. I can’t say this is the most chip resistant polish that I’ve tried but considering the price is half of the other famous nail polishes I can say this has a chance to compare with them. I’ve tried many colors from Kinetics and most of them can last beautiful on the nail for about 4-5 days.
These are my natural nails but you have gel on your nail this color will last for 1 week even without top coat.
Now let’s see how the other nails look like. 🙂
Fashion Blue + Matte One Night Top Coat – after 4 days
As you can see from this photo Matte One Night Top Coat did a real good job and kept my nails almost intact for so many days. I’ve tried this mattifying top coat on several polishes so far and I really like it because it preservers the polish much better than an usual top coat.
If you like matte colors this is a great mattifying top coat, I definitely recommended. 🙂
I hope this review was helpful for you guys and you had fun reading it and watching these photos. Please let me know if you like this color and how would you prefer wearing it, shiny or matte?

I’m not really a fan of such dark blue shades for nail polish, but I have to say this one looks pretty matte. And I think I need to get that top coat, it seems to work so well both at mattifying shades and keeping them intact for days.

Hi Gio! I’m not really into blue shades at all (not even on my makeup or clothes) but I really like this mattifying top coat. It’s really great.
