Kinetics Nano Rhino Soft & Peeling Instant Treatment for Soft Nails – Review, Photos, Swatches

by Tavia

Hi everyone!

About two months ago I received the entire collection of Kinetics Nano Nail Treatments for Fall 2010 (preview + photos) right when my nails needed all the help they could get.

If you’ve read some of my nail polish reviews you know that I don’t like to wear a base coat and I apply a top coat only on 5 of my nails so I can compare the results between the nail polishes later on. All that swatching and nail polish testing made my nails yellow, soft and they were also starting to exfoliate all the time. They were just sending me an SOS message so I knew I had to do something about it.

Nano Nail Treatments Collection offers a complete treatment for any problem that your nails might have. I tested all of them but first I’ve started with Kinetics Nano Rhino Soft & Peeling Instant Treatment for Soft Nails.

Description: A natural keratin and aldehyde treatment for soft and peeling nails. Builds a second “nail layer” to instantly restore durability. Provides easy, streak-free polish glide due to a super-hard surface formed by advanced nanotechnology. Serves as a base coat with improved adhesion. Instant treatment for soft, peeling, and weak nails.

Nano Rhino Treatment comes in a 15 ml (0.5 fl oz) bottle and is available @kineticsnails.com and selected beauty salons. Don’t forget to check my post about countries and online shops availability because the price is different for each country.

What can I say about the packaging that I haven’t already said? 🙂 The bottle has a super cute design and it will surely put a smile on your face. Don’t let the Rhino fool you because he is here on a mission to repair those soft nails. 🙂

Take a look at my nails prior applying Nano Rhino.

This is how my nails look like after months (probably 1 year) without any base coat or treatment. Pretty yellow, soft and very thin. I just had them file for this photo but trust me the tips were starting to exfoliate. Take a look at this close up photo.

My nails before applying Nano Rhino

How to use it:

  • Brush one coat and let it dry. Apply your favorite nail polish.
  • To use as a natural nail polish apply two coats only.
  • Treatment must be repeated every 2-3 days to achieve desired results.

I’ve applied one layer of Nano Rhino and you can see (also from the close-up photo above) the color is a soft transparent peachy shade with a creamy consistency. The brush works pretty well, giving a smooth application without picking up to much product.

My nails are pretty yellow as you can see so this light nude beige it really accentuates it but since this is an instant treatment I wouldn’t recommed you to apply a nail polish of top. Just leave the Rhino to work its magic for 2-3 days, then remove it and reapply it again. After 4-5 days you can compare the results as I did. 🙂 You can apply Nano Rhino as a treatment until your nails become stronger and resistant.

I just tested this product as a treatment for only 5 days because I had other Nano Treatments waiting for me. 🙂

My nails after 5 days of Nano Rhino treatment

After 5 days I saw the first signs and my nails were not that soft anymore. My  nails are still yellow but not like before as I’m sure you’ve noticed in the first photo.

After you’ve taken the treatment you can start applying Nano Rhino as a your base coat to protect your nails.

Here is the list with the ingredients.

I hope this review was helpful so if you have any questions or comments please post them in the box bellow.

Are you using a base coat every time you apply your nail polish? How often do you use a nail treatment? 🙂

Hi Tracy! Kinetics is not available in Canada. I guess you just looked at the photos and not read the article. 🙁
