Hello beauties!

I want to show you my new MUA Peach Shimmer Out There Plumping Lip Gloss, the second shade of this type of lip gloss that I purchased online a few months ago but I didn’t have the chance to use it until recently. I always like to wear natural and pink shades and I was really curious to try a new plumping lip gloss effect so this is the second color I’ve bought together with MUA Pink Sugar Out There Plumping Lip Gloss (review & swatches).

MUA Peach Shimmer Out There Plumping Lip Gloss (£2.00) is a light pink peach with fine gold shimmer. It has warm undertones but it looks more pink than peachy and it’s a beautiful natural everyday lip color that you can wear to school, when you do your shopping, go out with your friends and even pair it up with a smoky eye for a natural look.

The texture is light, doesn’t feel sticky at all while the color delivers a good opacity after several swipes just because you need to deep the applicator about 3 to 4 times in the tube to pick up enough product. This lip gloss comes in a long transparent plastic tube with a black cap and doe-footed applicator which in my case it didn’t gave me a precise application just because it is to long and whenever I use the wand I feel like it’s about to break and the doe-footed applicator doesn’t pick up enough product for one precise application.

Even though the color is extremely beautiful and makes lips look fuller, fresh and healthy due to that beautiful intense shine, I couldn’t help feeling uncomfortable in the first 10 minutes after I’ve applied Peach Shimmer just because my lips were burning and stinging which is suppose to be defined as a plumping effect. I personally didn’t noticed any difference on my lips other than the usual fuller lips effect that any glossy lip gloss is suppose to give you. After 10 minutes that burning sensation is considerably diminished into a tingling sensation, something that’s really more bearable and normal for a plumping lip gloss.

Considering this is a drugstore product and the price is very affordable I didn’t mind paying the price as I really love this color but I just can’t stand the first 10 minutes of that awful sensation. I noticed it has a strong scent as well, noticeable only on the tube not on the lips, but I can’t really put a name to it, I would say something stingy not very pleasant for me.

Peach Shimmer does last for about 3 to 4 hours on me before I need to reapply the color. It didn’t dry out my lips and it didn’t sink into lip lines.
