Hello pretties!
Last month I received a package from Rouge Bunny Rouge (preview & photos) as a gift for my B-day. I picked up the products myself and because I’m a pink fanatic and so far I haven’t owned any pink eyeshadow from RBR I decided to try the Long Lasting Eyeshadow in #020 Capricious Nightingale. I was really impressed with my previous RBR Long Lasting Eyeshadows (preview & swatches) and since I’ve run out of soft pinks I thought this was a great opportunity to try a new shade.

RBR Long Lasting Eyeshadow in #20 Capricious Nightingale (€24.00 for 2.4 g/ 0.084 oz) is described as a silver-white cherry blossom pink with metallic finish. The color is absolutely gorgeous for those looking for a soft baby pink with a super shiny metallic finish and a glimpse of white in it. It has a good color payoff but keep in mind this was not meat to be very pigmented since it’s such a luminous shade. It has a smooth almost buttery-like texture and is easy blendable, without creasing or fall out. It has a good color payoff applied without an eyeshadow primer but if you want to enhance that metallic finish just use it on top of a base. It wears on me for about 8 hours without creasing.
Being a mono eyeshadow it comes in a black small case with a mirror inside, looking simple but yet very chic. If you want you can choose to depot it and stash it in your eyeshadow palette as RBR already offers Duo & Trio Eyeshadow Keepers.
I like to use this shade to create a soft and yet fresh natural makeup look, especially by placing this shade on inner part of the lid to brighten up the area. I’ve already done a couple of looks which I will post later on.

I’m honestly loving this shade and it has become my go-to pink shade for a perfect spring makeup. What do you think of it?

I’m ashamed that I have this unused. I love their e/s and stocked up yet I wear the same ones over and over. This needs to come out of hiding now that I’ve seen your posts.
You should definitely take advantage of it Marcia! It’s really a very pretty shade and has an amazing texture 🙂
