I got Rouge Bunny Rouge Sweet Bliss XXX Lip Plum in the shade No.083 Clover Royal Jelly along with other RBR Lip Products in nude shades (swatches, photos), just perfect to start the fall season with. Lip Glosses are my thing and if they have plumping properties it’s even better so RBR Clover Royal Jelly XXX Lip Plum was the first one I tried.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Sweet Bliss XXX Lip Plump (€29.00 / £20.47 for 5.5 ml / 0.19 fl oz) in #083 Clover Royal Jelly is presented as a medium milky pink rosewood with cool undertones and silver micro-shimmer.
The color is absolutely beautiful, a medium rosy beige with cool undertones and super shiny finish due to its silver shimmering particles. It glides easily on the lips, delivering a semi-opaque color coverage with an intense shine which gives that beautiful wet lips effect.
The gloss comes in a transparent plastic tube with a black cap which bares RBR logo and has a brush type applicator which delivers just the right amount of product for a perfect single application. The formula is light, milky and it doesn’t emphasize lip lines, nor does it sink into them.
Right from the first moment of the application, I felt a light tingling in my lips and a freshness in the same time. The gloss is mildly scented but I can’t quite distinct the aroma, it’s anyway something fresh like a minty.
The shiny effect makes lips appear fuller and plump while after a couple of minutes I could noticed that my lips were slightly volumised. The RBR XXX Lip Plump formula known as “triple-x” coats lips with a protective film while delivering a light color, that looks and feel natural, just that shade that you will wear on a daily basis.
It contains Jojoba Wax and Olive Oil Extract that counteracts age-related changes along with antioxidant properties of Vitamin E that helps protect, soothe and moisturize. From beginning to end I felt my lips soft, moisturized without any sticky, or tacky feeling.
Considering most lip glosses don’t last long on my lips, I was pleasantly surprised to noticed that RBR XXX Lip Plum was there after 5 hours even though I had been drinking in the meantime (but no eating).
It’s definitely a color that will change a bit your natural lip color, but it will still remain nude on the lips, giving them a feeling a freshness and a plump look, while you’ll feel them comfortable and hydrated throughout the day. It complement any skin tone, from light to medium and dark and it would be a nice addition to any nude lipstick color.
