Designed exclusively for Selfridges’ Beauty Project, the Dubai Couture Palette from Yves Saint Laurent is encrusted with Swarovski crystals and offers five eyeshadows in a single case. The Couture Palette opens to reveal bold black Couture lines, perfectly proportioned graphic design features and high-impact colour associations – all nods to the legendary ‘Mondrian’ dresses created by Mr. Saint Laurent. Yves Saint Laurent revolutionised fashion by imposing colour as an element of affirmation and sophistication. YSL has developed a concept building on this heritage: Eyes like a work of art: Art of colours, Art of combinations, A design as a piece of art.
