Coolcos French Beige Moisturizing Lipstick – Review, Swatches, Photos

Hello beauties!

Anyone should have a natural color lipstick in their makeup collection and my latest acquisition is Coolcos French Beige Moisturizing Lipstick. As you already know from my previous reviews, over the past few weeks I tested and review quite of few shades of Coolcos Moisturizing Lipstick since the brand was recently introduced in my country.

Coolcos French Beige Moisturizing Lipstick (27.18 Lei/ 49.00 DKK/ $8.00 for 3.5 g/ 0.1 oz) is a very light beige with warm undertones. This is the perfect shade to be called natural as it doesn’t change the lip color to much. It has a semi opaque color coverage and delivers a nice natural sheen making Coolcos French Beige Moisturizing Lipstick a color that you can wear on every day basis.

It has a medium creamy consistency and glides effortlessly across the lips feeling lightweight and very comfortable. The formula is described as moisturizing but it doesn’t seem to be that moisturizing as it does emphasizes the lip lines a little bit, especially if you are wearing this shade on a cold weather. A lip gloss applied on top of Coolcos French Beige would be a great idea and it would even out the color and add a glossy finish that will diminish the appearance of lip lines.

I like this shade as it can be used on a nude makeup or paired with a smoky or dramatic eye makeup when you don’t want the lips to be the center of attention. This color will look very natural on those with light and medium skin tones but I don’t know if those with darker skin color will really appreciate it.

I had about 4 hours wear with this formula, without staining my lips or drying them out. On a cold day like we have this winter I like to apply a lip balm with 10-15 minutes before applying Coolcos French Beige Moisturizing Lipstick so I will prevent my lips from dehydration and that unaesthetic chapped lips look. The formula is not quite as moisturizing as it should be and it doesn’t hydrated the lips as it should be.
