MAC Vintage Selection Pro Longwear Paint Pot Review, Swatches, Photos

by Tavia

Hello beauties!

Today I wanna talk to you about MAC Vintage Selection Pro Longwear Paint Pot, a product that I received at MAC Autumn Winter 2015 Trends event (photos, video). Last week I gave you a quick peek at all the new MAC makeup products (preview, photos) that I got and I was telling you Vintage Selection Paint Pot shade will be first I’ll review considering I’ve been wearing it for the past couple of days.

MAC Vintage Selection Pro Longwear Paint Pot ($21.00 / £16.00 / €24.00 for 5 g/ 0.17 oz) is officially described as a frosted dirty peach. I see it as a light champagne brown with warm tones, intense frosted finish and pearl shimmer.

For those of you who are new to MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot formula, I will say it light and creamy, it melts easily between your fingers  when you warm up the product and apply it on your lids and shows a gorgeous and intense metallic shine with soft shimmer. I would say it has the perfect texture to make it a great eyeshadow base or you can choose to wear it on its own and dab some glitter on top of it if you are looking for a more intense makeup look. The creamy consistency is perfect, it glides easily and evenly across the lid revealing an intense color payoff, and once it dries down and sets shows no signs of creasing or settling into fine lines. It blends easily with a soft blending brush or in some situations I preferred to use my ring finger to smooth out the product.

I honestly love how smooth MAC Vintage Selection really feels, how easily and flawlessly it is applied and the fact that it last beautiful from day to night without showing signs of fading. It truly has a long-wearing formula and the fact that it can be used with other products is definitely a plus.

I’ll be posting a makeup look using MAC Vintage Selection Pro Longwear Paint Pot in the upcoming days so please stop by and check it out as I would love to read your opinions.

It definitely is. I wore it alone the other day and yesterday I paired it with the new shades from MustaeV Nude Quad Eye Shadow Palette and I shall post a review later today. 🙂
