Rouge Bunny Rouge Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner in Tiger Eye Essence – Review, Photos, Swatches

by Tavia

Hello my dears!

Another product included in my package from Rouge Bunny Rouge (preview + swatches) is Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner in No. 036 Tiger Eye Essence.

At a rarely explored fringe of the Enchanted Garden lies the Cape of Eternal Devotion, an untamed sliver of peninsula where wild tempests rage beneath portentous skies packed dense with storm clouds. On the shore, amidst the battered rocks hide delicate pebbles of precious quartz-stone, unseen to all but the most attentive eye. These shimmering droplets are relentlessly caressed by the surging ocean; their crystalline beauty a product of the sea’s fathomless devotion.

Each full moon, scuttle-crabs comb the secret shores, seeking out the quartz droplets through the refraction of lunar rays. Plucked away from its foaming benefactor, the precious quartz is crushed and melded with magic seawater into Devotion Ink, a rare potion with which the most achingly beautiful love letters write themselves.

She who dares to adorn her eyes with this potent mix will find its tidal pull a powerful force. Still yearning to win back the eternal devotion of the sea, the languorous eyeliner of crushed quartz can inspire in others a devotion that may never be extinguished.

Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner is already available @zuneta.com for the price of £ 27.00 offering 2.5 ml (0,084 fl oz) of product.Tiger Eye Essence is a dilute black ink base, lavished with 24 carat gold and polished copper, for an overall bursting with glitter, black bronze holographic effect. Offers beautiful golden reflexes and glides smoothly on the lid.

I’m no expert when it comes to applying liquid liner but because of its small pointed brush the application is easy and precise. It helps if I apply first small strokes or apply some dots and link them together through a small line and after if I want a more dramatic line I can always return and make the line thicker. 🙂

I worn Tiger Eye Essence a few times this summer and the liner is quite long-lasting, it doesn’t creases but the color is not that intense after 5-6 hours. The reflexes from this color are really gorgeous creating a special touch even when I decided to apply only eye liner and mascara.

Although is a liquid liner is the hardest one to apply because take a lot of practice and a special technique I think that this one can also be used by beginners like me because the tip is not that soft, more like a combination between a pen and a brush. 🙂

The price is a kind of expensive considering only the 2.5 ml of product but Devotion Ink Quartz Eyeliner is one of Rouge Bunny Rouge best selling products.

If you want a touch of elegance and modern look on  your eyes this is definitely a great product to try.

I hope this review was helpful for all of you. Have you tried one of RBR Liquid Liners? Or what liner is your favorite right now?

I know RBR products are some expensive. They are great products though with special ingredients so that’s why this price I’m sure.

I know it’s kind of pricey for such a small eyeliner but I really love the special color and gold shine effect. 🙂

Oh what a beauty but oh what a price. I think it would just end up looking dark on me.

I like the black/gold/copper/bronze combination and it would look awesome alone or with a simple neutral look.
