Hello beauties!
Right before Christmas I received a couple of Rouge Bunny Rouge items (photos & swatches) and among them I was happy to notice the two new Long Lasting Eye Shadows in Rain Dove and Rufous-Tailed Weaver. These shades are brand new and will be released this spring along with new makeup products from Rouge Bunny Rouge. I’ve tested a lot of eye shadows from this brand and if you are not familiar yet with Rouge Bunny Rouge I would say you should start with the eyeshadows.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Rain Dove Long Lasting Eye Shadow (€24.00 for 2 g/ 0.071) is a light champagne gold shade with a intense satin finish and very fine and discreet shimmer. It is a beautiful natural warm color that I love to use for a natural, nude makeup as it brightens the eye and it reflects the light revealing an intense sheen.
Rouge Bunny Rouge Rufous-Tailed Weaver Long Lasting Eye Shadow (€24.00 for 2 g/ 0.071) is a medium greenish golden brown with a satin, slightly metallic sheen.
They both have an incredibly smooth, buttery like texture that glides effortlessly and evenly across the lid showing a high color payoff. They can be used wet for a more intense effect or dry for a more natural look but either way they’re very pigmented and look very intense over an eyeshadow primer.
They apply easy, without fall-out and they are easily blendable. I used both shades a couple of time for the past few weeks in different makeup looks and they behaved incredibly well, without creasing or fading. I got somewhere around 8 hours wear for both Rain Dove and Rufous-Tailed Weaver and they proved to be worthy of joining the Rouge Bunny Rouge Long-Lasting Eye Shadow family.
They can be both paired for a smokey eye or a more dramatic evening look as they look great together and will complement any eye color. I have green eyes and my favorite is Rain Dove just because I’ve been using it quite often lately when I wanted a natural looking makeup but with a eyeshadow shade that will brighten up my eyes making them look fresh and bright.
Each shade comes in a black rounded opaque plastic case with a small mirror inside. They are very easy to use and hold but it’s up to you if you want to depot them and use it in your eyeshadow keeper or Z palette. I keep my Rouge Bunny Rouge eyeshadows in a RBR Trio Eyeshadow Keeper.
I will be posting a makeup look in the upcoming days using both of these new eyeshadows so keep reading my blog if you are interested in seeing how these two shades look together.

I think rain dove would look better on me. Would it look good with a red lipstick?
I need them both. I hate that they take forever to get to Beauty Habit.
These are new shades and they haven’t been launched yet. Hopefully at the end of January they will become available online.
